WHITCHURCH United found Wessex League Premier Division title chasing Blackfield and Langley too hot to handle as they lost to the visitors 3-0.
The game included a very bizarre moment, when Jamie White scored a penalty for the visitors, only referee James Ford to disallow the spot kick as teammate Sam Wilson had encroached.
However, instead of the kick being taken again, Blackfield were awarded a indirect free-kick instead.
The Jam Boys return to action on Wednesday December 28 (7.45pm) when they face a local derby against Andover Town, who are 16th in the table two places above Whitchurch.
