WHITCHURCH manager Carl Bennett is looking for his side to ease their Wessex League Premier Division relegation worries when they travel to Alresford on Saturday.
An excellent run by the Jam Boys of seven points out of nine was ended with a 3-0 loss against visiting Brockenhurst last weekend.
Bennett felt recent games had caught up with his team and said: "We lacked quality in the final third and our goalkeeper Ellis Grant did well to keep us in the game, but in the end we ended up losing.
"We now have four games left and want 12 points which of course will see us avoid relegation. We are now level with Cowes and only a point behind Bournemouth."
The boss is hoping they will be safe, before they face fellow strugglers Fawley on Saturday April 15.
Saturday's game will see Scott Hassell suspended after he picked up a two game ban for his red card against Bournemouth Poppies.
Centre half Gary Bagley will also be missing due to a hamstring injury, but Corey Chemmett will back from a similar injury.
Last Wednesday, a heavily deflected strike by Jamie Mansell helped 10 man Whitchurch United to a crucial 3-2 victory over local rivals Andover Town.
However, just moments after the Jam Boys had taken the lead, sub Luke Scholar was sent off for an ill-advised tackle, which came minutes after he had picked up his first booking.
Despite being down to 10 men, United held off Town’s relentless attacks for the final 20 minutes yielded just one goal.
Earlier in the contest, the Jam Boys took the lead from Will Grange and Sam McCarthy doubled the advantage.
Andover pulled a goal back five minutes and then equalised, before Mansell struck the winner.
