BEECHDOWN A have started with two wins and a draw in the Basingstoke and District Mixed Division One.
They beat Old Basing B 8-0 with a team of Clare Munns/Tom Perkins and Andrea Butcher/Chris Harrold and Overton A 7-1 with the draw being against Totally Tennis A. Andover beat Odiham A 8-0 and Old Basing A saw off their own B team 7-1 with Penny Luke/Jamie Thomas getting a maximum.
Totally Tennis A beat Oakley A 7-1 with Steph Catlin/Jamie Jordan winning all their sets. The Old Basing B team of Simon and Tina Wood and Darren and Emma Giddings beat Odiham A 8-0.
RSF A lead Division Two with three wins from three matches. They have beaten Oakley B 8-0, RSF B 7-1 and Mortimer A 5-3.
Oakley B beat Totally Tennis B 7-1 with Paula Wiseman/Andy Wallace winning their sets and the team also won 6-2 against Whitchurch.
The Whitchurch team did however beat Overton B 5-3, but also lost by the same score to Beechdown B. Aldermaston A beat Mortimer A 5-3 and drew with RSF B.
Division Three sees Odiham B at the top with two wins and a draw.
They beat their C team 6-2 with Sue Cockroft/Claudio Nold being unbeaten and Whitchurch B 7-1 with the draw being against Beechdown D.
Kingsclere beat Odiham C 5-3 with Alan Curtis/Netta Thorne getting a maximum and Richard and Judith Mole also won all their sets for Preston Candover in their 5-3 win against Beechdown C. Hampshire Court beat Preston Candover 6-2.
