BASINGSTOKE and North Hants’ George Metzger will be hoping he can help Hampshire under-17s to their first County Championship win of the season this week.

Hampshire host Worcestershire in a three-day match at May’s Bounty, starting tomorrow at noon.

They drew their opening game against Devon and escaped with a draw from their match with Somerset, after most of the last day’s play was washed out.

Hampshire’s under-17s squad for the game is as follows: Miles Kantolinna, George Metzger, Cole Campbell, Fletcha Middleton, Harry Gadd, Tom South, Patrick Holly, Scott Currie, Zac Organ, Chris Searle, Rory Hipwell and Jack Campbell.
