AFC Aldermaston kick-off their second campaign in the Hellenic League Division One East when Wokingham and Emmbrook are the visitors.

Last season, Aldermaston finished seventh in their first campaign back in the Hellenic set-up, while Saturday’s visitors came 12th.

Aldermaston beat Wokingham 2-0 last season in the home game and the same again would do nicely on Saturday.

The Atom Boys have had a mixed pre-season with three wins four losses and one draw, but finished with a fine 3-0 win over Alresford.

Daniel Alliston, Kai Parton-Edey and Karl Hanks were all on target for the home side.

Parton-Edey also had his shooting boots on, when he bagged all the goals with a hat-trick in the their 3-1 success against Ascot.
