OVERTON United will be looking to chalk up their first home game of the season when they entertain Colden Common this evening.
Overton lost their opening game at their Bridge Street ground last weekend.
The home side went down 3-1 to visiting Hayling United.
In the opening 45 minutes, Overton had their chances but were unable to find the night.
Unfortunately the visitors were more clinically and scored twice to take a 2-0 lead to the dressing rooms at the break.
After the interval, Johnnie Gurney, who had a couple of chances in the opening 45 minutes pulled a goal back.
The home side then went chasing for an equaliser, but as often the case they were caught on the break and Hayling scored a third to end the game as a contest.
Joint manager Carl Clayton said: "It is very frustrating at the moment as I feel at some point we will score a ton of goals in one game.
"I think we just need a bit of confidence and it will click into place as I do not feel we are playing badly. In the first half with Hayling they were just more clinical than us.
Looking ahead to Saturday game at home to Sway, Clayton added: "Sway came up and below us in the table so this is already a big game this early in the season."
