OLD Basing A lead the way in the Basingstoke and District Tennis League Mixed Division One with two wins and a draw from their first 3 matches.
They beat Beechdown A 7-1, with Jamie Thomas/Sally Clackett being unbeaten and Overton A 5-3, with the draw being against their B team. Oakley A have started with three draws from three matches against Goodworth Clatford, Old Basing B and Totally Tennis A.
Overton A beat Goodworth Clatford 6-2 but lost by the same score at Beechdown A with Chris Harrold/Andrea Butcher getting a maximum for the home side.
RSF head Division Two after two wins and a loss. They beat Aldermaston A 7-1, Simon Syed/Maggie Woolley winning all their sets and Odiham A 5-3, but lost at Overton B 5-3.
Other teams with a win each are Beechdown B 8-0 against Oakley B, Kingsclere 7-1 against Oakley B, Graham Lockyer/Janice Arnold being unbeaten.
Emma Barnes and Andrew Ridgers got a maximum as Odiham A beat Overton B 7-1.
Division Three sees Totally Tennis B on top after 8-0 wins against Mortimer A and Odiham B. Nick Pogmore/Jacqui Black and Steve Kilgannon/Jo Jones making up their team against Odiham.
Hook have also got two wins from two matches after successes against Whitchurch A 7-1, in which Andy Small/Ailsa Fraser secured a maximum and they then won 5-3 at Preston Candover.
An Earl Sibley/Fiona Mayani maximum gave RSF B a 5-3 win at Odiham B.
Two 5-3 wins against Aldermaston B and their C team sees Beechdown D lead Division Four.
The team of Dave Bull/Karen Bailey and Iain Cameron/Rosemary Boast gave Aldermaston B an 8-0 win at Odiham C and a maximum from Adam Fitzgerald and Jayne Crowley saw Hampshire Court home in a 5-3 win at Aldermaston B.
