WHITCHURCH United will take on Andover Town this evening at Portway in the North Hants Senior Cup quarter-final tie.
On Saturday, Whitchurch should have taken all three points against Laverstock and Ford in their Wessex League Division One encounter, but ended up losing 2-1.
They had three good chances early on from Jacob Wise, Jack Ormiston and Sam Chandler.
After the visitors then went close, the Jam Boys scored from Phil Berntsen, but Laverstock levelled two minutes later.
After the break, the game was all Whitchurch, but they were undone by a penalty on 74 minutes as the visitors left Longmeadow with all three points.
After the game Whitchurch manager Glyn Cherrett said: "We are just not getting the luck at the moment - as it was never a penalty, our player has cleared the ball cleanly.
"We just cannot score at the moment and we had all the game especially in the second half. I think they only got into our half three or four times after the break."
