AFC ALDERMASTON led 1-0 at half-time against visiting Penn and Tylers Green, but ended up on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline.
The visitors should have taken the lead in the contest in 11th minute, but Kev Butcher produced a great penalty save.
The home side made the most of it, as Kai Parton-Edey gave the Atom Men the lead before the break.
However, after the interval the reigning Hellenic League Division One East champions equalised on 50 minutes and led on the hour mark as they ran out winners.
This Saturday, Aldermaston are away at Sandhurst.
