TADLEY Calleva start their FA Vase quest on Saturday with a visit from Ascot United.

They warmed up for the tie in fine style with an excellent 1-0 win over Wessex League Premier Division leaders Sholing in a second round tie in the League Cup .

Brett Denham scored the winner in the first half as he picked the ball up at half way line and surged into the visitor's half, before finishing with a low shot.

Sholing tried to get an equaliser, but Tadley limited their chances.

This victory erased from the memory, Saturday's 4-0 loss at Bashley, Tadley first defeat in the Premier Division this season.
