BASINGSTOKE and North Hants will be looking to end their first ever season on the Southern League Premier Division with a fourth straight win, which would secure them an impressive fourth place.
Standing in the way of the Bountymen are South Wilts, who are the visitors to May’s Bounty on Saturday.
The Bemerton-based side have led the table most of the season until recent weeks, but have now slipped to fourth.
Last Saturday, the Bountymen cruised to a nine wicket success over visiting Alton and Basingstoke have an unchanged side for the South Wilts clash.
Skipper Mitch Stokes said: “It would be great to finish with a win and it would be our tenth of the season and I think we can be very happy with that in our first season at this level.”
On Sunday, Basingstoke will then focus on winning some silverware, when they face Hook and Newnham Basics in the final of the Finch Group Guy Jewell Cup.
This starts at May’s Bounty at 2.45pm.
Before this with an 11am start time Basingstoke Hockey take on Chawton in the final of the Finch Group Cyril Thompson Trophy.
