BASINGSTOKE seconds finished off their season with a five wicket win at Waterlooville.
The home side won the toss and decided to bat and started well enough thanks to James Scutt (18) and Alex Smith (21), but from 80-4 they were all out for 90.
This was after a superb 10 over spell from Rakitha Perera, as he returned 6-17. Ash Neal also chipped in with 2-12.
The Bountymen’s reply did not get off to the best of starts as they were soon 23-3, but Callum Coombs (21) and Richard Vinn (32 not out) steered the side to 60.
Vinn and Oates, got them to one run short of their total, before Vinn hit the winning run.
