TADLEY Calleva will face a visit from Chertsey Town in the second round of the FA Vase, a week on Saturday after they beat Ascot United 3-1.
All the goals in the first round tie came in the final 45 minutes, with Danny Vickers the first to score just after the hour mark.
Nathan Minhas then levelled things for the visitors.
It was left for last season’s leading scorer Brett Denham to score a brace in the final 10 minutes to book Tadley a place in the next round.
After the game manager Danny Dolan said: "It could have gone either way in the first half, but in the end we ran out worthy winners. It is great to have another home and we know Chertsey will be tough."
This Saturday, newly promoted Tadley return to Wessex League Premier Division action when they entertain last season’s Division One champions Christchurch.
The visitors have won once in their opening three games, while Tadley are third in the table after three wins from their first four outings Tadley now know they will entertain Royal Navy in the second round of the Hampshire Senior after they beat East Cowes Vics on Tuesday night.
