IT WAS another weather interruption Saturday League programme as only three of the scheduled matches played.
Hook defeated Tadley Calleva A 5-1 in the quarter-final of the Basingstoke A Cup, even if Tadley took the lead after just three minutes when a corner from Ellis Theodore was not cleared well and Bradley Cox headed home.
Hook equalised through Ismal Alvarez after being put through by Sean Hayes on 35 minutes,
Alvarez made it 2-1 after he converted a Dave King to volley home four minutes after the break.
On 66 minutes, Hayes crashed the ball home from well outside the box.
Hook added two late goals as Dave King and Dan Mauradian combined for sub Pete Silvester to net and a dummy by Silvester led to Hayes scoring the fifth.
Hook with now meet Overton United A or AFC Berg in the semi-finals with Silchester Village or Twentyten awaiting them in the final and Barlow's Park on May 4 (2.30pm).
The B Cup final takes place at 6.30pm at the same venue on the same day. In the semi finals North Warnborough at home to Oakridge, while Overton United B entertain Twentyten Reserves.
The only game due to be played in Division One between Twentyten and Herriard Sports was cancelled as Herriard were unable to raise a team, so the points will be awarded.
In Division Two, Chineham gained revenge for a 5-1 loss against Twentyten Reserves beating them 3-1 this time, as the visitors were reduced to eight men.
The first to go was their goalkeeper Adam Burridge after just 10 minutes after disputing a free kick and making an alleged gesture to the referee,
Chineham took advantage when Paddy Callahan gave them a half time lead.
In the 50th Josh Bromley put Olly Knox through for the equaliser, but soon after this they went down to nine men when Bromley was dismissed for a second yellow card.
The next to go was Sam Coombs for alleged misconduct and Callaghan scored his second to make it 2-1.
Mark Smith, who took over in goal, made a couple of good saves, but was beaten when a breakaway goal by Chineham's Scott Berry.
A hat-trick from North Warnborough’s John Scott-Elliott helped them to a 4-3 win over AFC Berg Reserves.
Dylan Mothersole scored their other goals, while Lee Neal and Johnny Gurney (2) were on target for Berg.
This Saturday's fixtures are North Hants May Cup semi-finals: Hook v Broughton, Silchester Village v Kingsclere.
Division 1: AFC Berg v AFC Aldermaston A, Tadley Calleva A v Herriard Sports.
Division 2: Basingstoke Ath v AFC Aldermaston A, Overton Utd B v Oakridge, Renegades v Chineham, Twentyten Res v AFC Aldermaston.
