THE Basingstoke Bison will face a visit from the Peterborough Phantoms on Thursday night in the first leg of the South Cup final.
This was after the Phantoms wrapped up a 9-5 aggregate semi-final success over the Bracknell Bees last Wednesday.
The action this Thursday starts at 7.45pm and this is a non season ticket game.
The second leg of the final is at Peterborough on March 13, again with a 7.45pm face-off.
Games between these sides have been very close all season and the last one earlier this month went to a penalty shoot-out with the Phantoms winning it.
That was the final game of the league series, which finished all square with three wins each.
This evening the Herd have their last game ahead of the final’s first leg when they travel to Romford to take on the Raiders.
They lost at Swindon 6-1 last night.
At the same time, Peterborough were beaten 3-2 after penalty shots by the Milton Keynes Thunder and this evening they are away at Invicta.
Last Wednesday, Bison forward Liam Morris made his debut for the Manchester Storm in their 3-2 win over the Dundee Stars.
