SAM Brooks scored the game winner as the Basingstoke Buffalo came back from two goals down to sign off their home league campaign with a 6-5 win over Swindon Wildcats 2.
It was Brooks who opened the scoring from Cameron Buckle and Travis Penny, his first of three assists.
Warren Jones then struck to tie the game up with helpers from Neil Leary and Jack Peacock.
However, Swindon re-took the lead by the second break.
Three unanswered goals from Sam Dollin, Jones' and Buckle gave the Buffs a 5-3 lead.
The visitors pulled a goal back, but Brooks from Matt Byrom restored the two goal lead at 54:12, before Swindon set up a tense finale a minute later, but the Buffalo held on to win.
