JUSTIN Rose bogeyed the final hole of his second round of the US Masters on Friday and with it missed the cut.
The former Robert May’s School pupil and World number one had high hopes for a good run in a tournament where he finished second in 2017.
However, it was not to be as Rose carded 75 on the opening day, which was three over.
On day two he did slightly better with a 73, but at four over he missed the cut by one shot.
This is the first time this has happened to the Englishman at Augusta in 14 years.
Going into the final round of the tournament today, Francesco Molinari is the leader on 13 under, two shots ahead of Tiger Woods and Tony Finau.
