WHITCHURCH United wrapped up their home campaign in the Wessex League Division One with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Folland Sports.
The Jam Boys scored the opener after 17 minutes after Corey Cherrett found Liam Stone and his cross was headed in at the back post by Ryan Long.
Whitchurch made sure of the win when Stone was brought down in the box and Aaron Randall made no mistake with the penalty after 75 minutes.
The home side hit the post for a second time and Long also had a couple of chances to add to his tally.
The closest for Folland was when the ball was cleared off the line.
Manager Glyn Cherrett said: “I felt we deserved the win as we were the better side for most of the game.”
The victory means the Jam Boys are 13th in the table ahead of their final league game of the season which is at bottom side Totton and Eling.
