SOUTHERN League Division One leaders Hook and Newnham Basics have a top of the table clash this Saturday, as they travel to the south coast to take on Portsmouth.
No doubt the home side will looking for revenge after they were crushed by the Hook Army when they travelled to north Hampshire being bowled out for 111 as they tried to chase down 307-7.
On that day, Matt Buckingham was the star of the show scoring 137.
Last weekend, the leaders warm-up for the big clash in great style with a 156-run victory over Calmore Sports.
Harry Robson led the way in this victory with an excellent 69 and Anik Divecha took 4-20.
Hook captain Josh Buckingham said: “Portsmouth away is going to be tough and every game now is a cup final for us."
