BASINGSTOKE and North Hants will be aiming to win their first trophy of the season at Hartley Wintney on Tuesday night (July 30).
The Bountymen will be in action against Finchampstead in the final of the Don Lynch Aylward Cup, which starts at 6pm.
Basingstoke had hoped to warm-up for the game with a victory over the Hampshire Academy in their Southern League Premier Division clash yesterday.
However, heavy overnight rain and showers during Saturday morning saw the game abandoned early in the afternoon at May’s Bounty, without a ball being bowled.
Basingstoke seconds also suffered the same fate in their Division Two clash at Hartley Wintney.
All three teams will hope for better luck next weekend, when Basingstoke first team travel to St Cross.
Hartley are also away at Liphook and Ripsley, while Basingstoke seconds entertain Waterlooville.
