THE search still goes on for a win for Basingstoke Town, after they lost to visiting Larkhall 2-1 on Tuesday night
The Dragons were given a great chance to take the lead when awarded a penalty in the fifth minute, after Harrison Cliff is fouled by the visiting goalkeeper. Ben Wright spot kick was saved.
On 26 minutes the visitors took the lead from Alex Lambert scores from close range and then Brad Norris from long range added a second.
On 40 minutes a two footed challenge on Claudio Herbert saw Norris shown a straight red card.
After the break, Dean Stow hit the bar, before with two minutes left Adam Everiss scored.
The Dragons went looking for an equaliser, but ran out of time.
Town’s next game is on Tuesday when they entertain Moneyfields in the League Cup.
