THE Basingstoke Bison lost the second leg of the Billy Glover Memorial Cup in Peterborough 4-0, so went down 6-2 on aggregate.

The Phantoms opened the scoring at 8:31 from Taylor Romeo.
They won the game with three goals in the space of five minutes of the second session all on the powerplay.
Glenn Billing got the first, Tom Norton the second and Conor Pollard made it 4-0 at 37:53.
In between the goals Romeo and new Bison captain Elliott Dewey each received four minute fro fighting, while Herd team mate George Norcliffe was dismissed after he picked up his second 10 minute penalty in the game at 33:48.
In the final period, Paul Petts clashed with both the Pollard brothers Nathan and Connor earning himself four minutes for fighting and two more for roughing.
This weekend, the Herd start their league campaign at home to the Telford Tigers on Saturday (6.30pm).
