WHITCHURCH United were unable to stop visiting Bemerton Heath Harlequins returning to second spot in the Wessex League Division One.
The Jam Boys got off to a great start against their high flying visitors as Nick Yeomans converted a penalty and then Lloyd Thompson made it 2-0.
At this put Whitchurch were control, but Bemerton hit back to level things by half-time and then the league's leading scorer Justin Bennett grabbed a hat-trick for a 5-2 win.
Manager Glyn Cherrett said: "This was definitely a game of two halves as he were better in the first half and they won the second half."
This Saturday, Whitchurch are at home again when Totton and Eling are the visitors to Longmeadow.
Then on Wednesday night, the Jam Boys face a north Hampshire derby when Andover Town are the visitors for a North Hants Senior Cup quarter-final clash.
