READING went down to visiting Blackburn Rovers 2-1 in the Championship yesterday.
The visitors led at half-time thanks to a goal from Adam Armstrong as he curled the ball into the top corner.
Just three minutes after the interval, Bradley Dack made it 2-0.
The Royals pulled a goal back from Jon Swift and Liam Moore so nearly scored an equaliser late on, but his header was well saved by Christian Walton.
The result saw Reading slip to 20th in the Championship table and are away to Wolves in EPL Cup on Wednesday night and on Saturday travel to Swansea in league action.
