READING beat visiting Millwall 2-1 in the Championship yesterday.

This was thanks to a couple of goal in the first 45 minutes from Jordan Obita and Sam Baldock.

Obita netted the Royals' first from 25 yards out as he smashed the ball past visiting goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski.

Reading then hit the crossbar thanks to John Swift’s free-kick, before Baldock's lovely strike made it 2-0.

Jed Wallace reduced the lead to one just after the hour mark, but that was as good as it got for the Lions.

Reading are at home again on Saturday when Luton are the visitors.
