MAREK Malinsky signed off his time with the Basingstoke Bison on Sunday in fine style with a goal in the Herd's 6-2 win at Romford against the Raiders.
This was the final game for the Czech Republic forward signed as injury cover for fellow import Richard Bordowski.
In the game in Essex last Sunday the Bison took a 2-0 lead to the dressing room at the first break thanks to a pair of powerplay goals from Ashley Tait and Liam Morris.
The Raiders hit back with their own brace of powerplay goals from man of the match Aaron Connolly and Erik Piatak.
However, by the second buzzer the Bison were back in front thanks to Tait's second of the evening.
The visitors wrapped up the victory with three unanswered goals the first from former Raider Malinsky, followed by Michal Klejna and a shorthanded marker from Morris.
As the game entered the final minute, it turned ugly as in the space of five seconds Hallam Wilson and JJ Pitchley fought and then Josh Kelly and Jacob Ranson traded blows.
