TADLEY Calleva manager Adam Clark is hoping his side can carry on their second half performance from last Saturday game into their home clash with Brockenhurst on Saturday.
Tadley were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Horndean, after Bobby Scott scored the winner with a volley from the half way line.
After a poor first 45 minutes, Tadley were the better side after the break, even when reduced to 10 men after a harsh straight red card for Kieran Maylen
Alex Fragata then went close to getting an equaliser, before Tadley were then reduced to nine men as Callum Sweeney went to the sinbin.
Despite this Tadley still looked good and Brett Denham went close.
Tadley were then reduced to eight players for the last eight minutes when Ryan Case was also sin binned.
After the game Clark said: “We played really well in the second half and were the better team. I want us to show that drive, passion and desire for the start on Saturday.”
After Saturday's league game Tadley will travel to Whitchurch United for their North Hants Senior Cup semi-final clash on Wednesday.
Last Saturday, the Jam Boys were beaten at home 3-2 as Liam Hunt and Declan Shuttleworth both netted.
This Saturday, Whitchurch are away at Alton.
