CLIVE Makoni scored his first ever hat-trick for Tadley Calleva as they returned winning ways with a 3-1 victory over visiting Brockenhurst last Saturday.
The home side had the better of the first 45 minutes, but against the run of play the visitors scored.
After the interval, Makoni netted his first as he struck from the left. His second came as George Farrelly and James Tennant combined and Makoni tapped home.
He completed his hat-trick after he closed down a poor back back.
A delighted manager Adam Clark said: "It was a really good performance and I hope we can carry this on into Christmas."
The results leaves Tadley 14th in the Wessex League Premier Division table and this Saturday they are away at Fleet, a side who are 15th and three points behind them, with both sides having played 17 games.
Tadley’s next home game is on Saturday, December 28, when Solent University are the visitors.
WHITCHURCH United will keen to snap their recent losing run and entertain Petersfield this Saturday.
Last weekend, the Jam Boys lost 3-0 to Alton who moved to the top of the Division One table.
