READING lost at Millwall 2-0 in the Championship in a game over shadowed by homophobic chanting from the home fans.
The home side opened the scoring after 71 minutes thanks to Matt Smith.
Millwall then made of the three points to maintain their play-off push as former Royal Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.
Earlier, the match was stopped in the first half following homophobic chanting from some of the Millwall fans which saw referee Keith Stroud speak to both managers.
There was also an announcement over the PA during the half-time interval.
Next for Reading is an away trip to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.
