GEORGE Hallahan marked his return to Basingstoke Town with a brace of goals from the subs bench, but his side still lost at Highworth 4-2.
This is the striker's second spell at club and has signed from near neighbours Tadley Calleva and arrived having scored 16 goals this season so far.
On Saturday, Claudio Herbert returned to the starting line-up, while Ben Dillon made his first start for the Dragons.
The visitors had the first chance with Dillon firing over, before the home side took the lead as Mathew Grabe netted Ashley Edenborough's rebound.
For the start of the second-half Hallahan replaced Ben Wright
Town levelled things as Hallahan started and finished a move on 51 minutes.
Then five minutes later, Hallahan grabbed another to put the Dragons 2-1 up.
On 73 minutes, Callum McGhee-Parsons headed in from close range after Aaron Watkins dropped Sean Wood's corner.
Four minutes alter, the Highworth makes it 3-2 as Dan Drewett's ball into the area finds the head of Edenborough.
The home side then are gifted a fourth from a defensive error which James Harrison scores.
Next for Town is a home game at Winchester City's ground against Mangotsfield United on Saturday.
