The Basingstoke Bison have just one game this weekend, which is on Saturday (6.30pm) at home to the Sheffield Steeldogs.
The Herd beat their Yorkshire rivals on their last visit to Basingstoke, but currently trail in the league series 3-2.
They will also be keen to get back to winning ways after losses to the Bees and Phantoms.
Bison player/coach Ashley Tait said: “Being a one game weekend we really need to bounce back and win. Games against Sheffield are always tight.”
Looking back on last weekend, Tait said: “We were in a good position and then threw the game away against the Bees. I can’t fault the guys against the Phantoms. It was more like a one goal game than a 6-3 game, but they were helped by three powerplay goals.”
On Sunday night in Basingstoke (6.30pm), the under-18 Bison host Slough.
