BASINGSTOKE Town suffered another defeat in the league, this time away to Harrow Borough, in probably one of their worst performances of the season.
'Stoke started the game in top gear with Liam Ferdinand heading the ball home to give them an early lead in the third minute. 0-1
But Harrow equalised with a good finish into the bottom corner in the 22nd minute. 1-1
It only took seven more minutes for Harrow to take the lead. 2-1
Town had a good chance to equalise in the 41st minute.
George Reid played in Liam Ferdinand, but his shot went just wide of the far post.
Harrow increased their lead in the second half with a goal in the 59th minute. 3-1
The home side and took the game away further with a fourth goal in the 84th minute. 4-1
Ferdinand finally got a consolation goal late in the injury time, but there wasn't enough to battle a comeback for 'Stoke.
The Basingstoke side will face Stockbridge in North Hants DFA semi-final on Saturday, December 23.
