Silchester Village smashed CK Andover away from home to take the third place in the Division 1 league, writes Tony Spencer.
The took 15 minutes to warm up before the visitors had the first opportunity falling to Lewis Sopp with a header from a corner that clipped the cross bar.
Silchester’s Liam Hill caused the Andover defence problems and, on 23 minutes, he threaded a lovely ball that split the Andover defence but Finley Hall shot wide.
Another chance befell Hall on 27 minutes and this time his shot fizzed over the bar.
On 29 minutes Hall found his range and scored from eight yards. (0-1)
Immediately on the half-hour, Connor Stratton tested the keeper but a good save deflected the ball off his left-hand post for a corner.
From the corner Joe Tallentire put his shot from six yards over the bar.
On 41 minutes a diagonal ball from Jordan Clear found Merson Webb, who beat a couple of players, crossed, and top goalscorer Connor Stratton volleyed in from the edge of the penalty area to make it 0-2 on half-time.
The second half started as the first ended with Tom Etheridge firring over the bar on 63 minutes.
Then Andover had their first and only shot on target but Joe Wooldridge, the Silchester keeper, saved well.
On 68 minutes Hall made it 0-3 and on 76 minutes Trent Barrington set up Webb to complete the scoring 0-4.
