Basingstoke racing driver, Aaron Morgan, marks his return to the British Endurance Championship with the onset of the 2024 racing season.
Morgan, a paraplegic, is part of Team BRIT, a unique group entirely composed of disabled racing drivers. This year, Morgan partners with fellow driver, Paul Fullick. Driving their McLaren 570S GT4, both have their eyes firmly set on securing a championship win.
March 29, Easter Friday, saw their debut partnership performance at Donington, where they qualified pole in their class. Remaining ahead for most of their two-hour race, mechanical failure in the last ten minutes forced Fullick into the gravel.
Despite this setback, they still managed to finish, garnering significant championship points.

Morgan's racing career started at age seven with motocross. However, a tragic accident in April 2006 left him with a broken spine and a lengthy recovery period.
His return to racing was swift, as he embarked on his driving lessons from his hospital ward, eventually becoming the youngest disabled individual to earn a national "B" racing license.
In 2021, Team BRIT CEO, Dave Player, invited Morgan to join. Together with Bobby Trundley, Morgan made history in 2022 by being part of the first all-disabled team to compete in the British GT Championship. The pair secured an impressive second in class.
Morgan started his 2024 season early with winter testing in Portimao, Portugal in February. With scheduled races every month till September, Morgan's next race will take place on April 13 in Snetterton.

Aaron said: "It’s all change this year as I pair up with Paul and return to UK tracks for the British Endurance Championship. I’m feeling confident and prepared for what will be a fantastic season of racing, bringing all the experience I’ve gained over the past three years to the 2024 season.
“Paul is a fantastic guy and a talented driver who has risen through the ranks quickly. I know he’s going to be fantastic in his first season in the McLaren, and together we should be able to make a real impact.
“A massive thank you to my personal sponsors CDW and Rhino Products and to every partner that has got behind the team. We’re looking forward to doing you proud this year.”
