National team events are reaching their final stages in Hampshire - with Basingstoke Town and Oakley the only local teams still competing.
The Town's Ladies have had their fair share of nail-biting moments having just edged past Alton Social with a 66-65 victory in the County Top Club event.
Their efforts have secured them a place in the County semi-final, where they're set to face Lee-on-the-Solent.
Oakley, on the other hand, secured their spot in the County quarter-final following a 3-2 win over Alton.
Town could be joining them in the quarters if they triumph over Farnborough.
Additionally, Oakley have also reached the quarter finals of the Men's Double Rink, with a match against Cove looming.
In the realm of National individual events, the skill of the Town's ladies has shone bright.
Anita Christian found triumph over Johns Trophy skip Kay Stockley in the Champion of Champions event, and Rachel Powell eclipsed Janet Williamson in the Senior Singles.
Over the weekend, several clubs vied for victory in the County Mixed Top Club event.
Oakley, the 2022 semi finalists, couldn't win against Alton Social, the 2023 champions.
Despite their best efforts and a commendable performance from Alice Lovett, they weren't able to beat five times County champion Margaret Holden.
Alton Social will now face Basingstoke Town for a spot in the Northern Area Final, after the latter overcame Pyestock.
Kingsclere could also be contenders after defeating Old Basing.
There have been no Basingstoke and District Fours league matches, with many local Clubs participating in the Hants and Berks Cup instead.
Basingstoke Town who triumphed over Kingsclere and Howard Park who edged a one shot win over Oakley are the local representatives who've progressed to the semi finals, along with two Alton Clubs.
In the Basingstoke Mixed Triples League, Basingstoke Town "A" and Oakley "A" have both retained their unbeaten runs in Division 1.
Meanwhile, St Mary Bourne has held onto top place in Division 2, though Town "B" is not far behind.
In the Whitchurch Mixed Triples League Division 1, Basingstoke Spades continue their unbeaten run and look poised to take the title this season.
However, in Division 2 the Howard Park Kestrels fell behind due to a second defeat, allowing St Mary Bourne and Alton Social to pull ahead.
In Division 3, Kingsclere Pheasants lost 3-2 to Aldermaston Oaks, while the top spot in Division 4 was shaken following a 3-2 defeat of leaders Marnell by Thorneycroft.
