ENGLAND Golf, the nation's amateur golf governing body, is offering free golf sessions at CarFest's KidFest area.

The initiative, available from 10am to 5pm each day of the festival, aims to provide an interactive, fun experience for individuals and families.

Participants will learn to swing, chip, and putt, with the chance to win several prizes.

This forms part of the wider Get Into Golf campaign to promote the sport as a fun, inclusive activity accessible to all, aiming ultimately to increase golf participation.

Toni Shelbourn, campaigns and brand manager at England Golf, said: "We are delighted to be attending this year’s CarFest, helping to raise money for UK Children’s Charities. Our pop-up activation in the KidFest area is suitable for the whole family, giving everyone the chance to try their hand at golf.

"As well as putting challenges, our inflatable target for chipping is fantastic fun and we’d encourage everyone to come down and give it a go! We also have some prizes and giveaways on offer."
