BRITON Mimi Xu and partner Naiktha Bains were celebrated at the Aldershot ITF World Tennis Tour M25 W35 event, scooping both the women's singles and doubles titles.

The tournament also saw Jack Pinnington Jones bag the men's singles title, while James Davis and Matthew Summers snatched the men's doubles championship for the UK club.

Further success came in the doubles as Xu and Bains, from Surrey, comfortably saw off fourth seeds Punnin Kovapitukted from Thailand and Japan's Akiko Omae.

Meanwhile, second seeded Kent pair James Davis and Matthew Summers triumphed over Japanese opponents Masamichi Imamura and Naoki Tajima, celebrating their fourth ITF doubles win together.

These international events form a part of the LTA’s Performance Competitions Calendar (PCC). The PCC programme aims to enhance opportunities for British players to earn ranking points and win prize money at home throughout the year.

The 2024 PCC calendar mirrors that of 2023, with the addition of two ATP Challenger events in February.

The Lexus Nottingham Challenger kicks off February 5, and the Lexus Glasgow Challenger starts on February 12.

These additions align with the LTA’s commitment to providing domestic playing opportunities at the right level.

The PCC is set to offer a projected increase of $118,000 in total prize money at pro tournaments in 2024.
