A remarkable young tennis player from Sherborne St John has taken the regional tennis scene by storm, clinching victory at the Under-16 'Fast Four' tournament at Ash Manor Tennis and Pickleball near Farnham.
Twelve-year-old Shrihan Chakraborty, a student at Sherfield School, emerged as the tournament champion on October 12, despite being the youngest competitor.
In a thrilling final match, Shrihan faced 13-year-old James Williams of Chichester, Sussex.
The match was a nail-biter from start to finish, with Shrihan narrowly winning 4-3, 0-4, 10-7.
