ICE Sheffield once again proved not to be a happy hunting ground for the Basingstoke Bison, as they lost 7-2 on Sunday night.
The Yorkshire side opened the scoring at 2:58, as Stephen Wallace found a way past Tom Annetts.
The advantage was doubled by the end of the period, as Robert Farmer netted as the Scims out shot the Bison 14-8.
The second session saw James Archer score with what looked like a kicked in goal, only for the Bison to open their account within a minute from Ollie Bronnimann as he finished a move involving Ondrej Lauko and Sam Oakford.
The home side made it 4-1 on the powerplay thanks to Matt Haywood, as Tyrone Miller sat out a tripping penalty.
The Herd took 28 seconds of the final session to net their second of the night from Lauko assisted by Bronnimann and Mindy Kieras.
However, the Scims replied with another powerplay strike from Tom Squires and then added two more goals in 85 seconds from Farmer and Archer to complete the 7-2 victory.
